Magnetic Circuit Analysis / Radial Ring Magnet Magnetization
When the motor torque is studied in detail, it is necessary to analyze the magnetic field taking into account the magnetization process of the magnet magnetized with multiple poles. First, the magnetization yoke magnetic field distribution is found and the magnetic field is analyzed taking the permanent magnet magnetization process into account.
At Shin-Etsu, magnetization is analyzed using magnet magnetization data as in Figure (c) as the model for the rare earth magnet magnetization process. The model in Figure (a) magnetizes the side surface of a cylinder shaped magnet with 8 poles. Here, the current value was understood from actual measurement, the actually measured current was applied to the magnetization yoke, and the component parallel to the magnetization direction was found as the effective magnetization magnetic field from the magnetization magnetic field of Figure (b). Next, the magnitude of the magnetization of the magnetized magnets is obtained from the magnetization magnetic field and magnetization ratio data and the magnetic field distribution of the magnet alone was analyzed. This was also compared with the actual measurements as in Figure (d).
