Working point

This is a point on the magnet's B-H demagnetization loop and indicates the B and H state of the magnet in the magnetic circuit. By knowing the working point, it is possible to forecast the magnetic flux density B that can be taken out from the magnetic circuit and whether or not the magnet itself demagnetizes. Also, the straight line drawn from the origin to this point is called the permeance line and when the slope of this line is expressed as B/H = μ₀ p, p is called the permeance coefficient.
